Emotion is a complex experience many of us encounter daily. Over the years, working as a counselor for youth and adults navigating life stressors, loss, and transitions has given us a deeper understanding to help individuals reconnect, grow, and reflect on their healing journey in both their internal and external worlds.
Heartmind therapeutic approach is informed by a humanistic, somatic, and trauma-informed lens—drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment, and Polyvagal Theory, among others. In-session, expect a non-judgmental space to explore and express your thoughts, emotions, and felt-sense (body-based instinct).
